Hi! I was Raised between Germany and Canada, I spent my 20s as a ski guide in BC & Alberta, then worked as a medic in the energy sector. In my mid-30s my husband swept me to his childhood island - I instantly fell for the beaches, forests, and laid-back vibe. Now we love welcoming travellers, especially families discovering this magic for the first time. I'm happiest sharing our favourite hidden spots, coffee shops, and trails. Stay with us for a warm island welcome and all the local tips! I’ve been hosting travellers for 4 years and I love every moment of it. We’ve maintained our super goat status since we earned it in 2022.

Welcome to our cozy ski-in/ski-out mountain retreat in Mount Washington’s Alpine Village! Designed with families, couples, and friends in mind, our condo offers a comfortable and welcoming place to settle in and enjoy everything the mountain has to offer. One of the best parts of staying here is the location—you can step outside, put on your gear, and head straight onto the mountain without having to load everyone into the car. After a day of skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or biking, come home, warm up, dry your gear, cook a meal together, and relax in your own private mountain space. The condo is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with a well-stocked kitchen, cozy living area, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable sleeping spaces, and plenty of room for two couples or a family. Thoughtful touches throughout the condo make longer stays easy too, so you can unpack and truly make yourself at home. In winter, the Alpine Village becomes a true snow-covered mountain community. Because the village roads are closed to regular vehicles during the snowy season, guests park in the designated village parking area and travel the final stretch by snowcat/sled transport—part of the unique Mount Washington experience! In summer, you can drive right up to the condo. Beyond the slopes, you’re minutes from Paradise Meadows and Strathcona Provincial Park, with incredible hiking, snowshoeing and alpine scenery. Cumberland, Courtenay, Comox and the ocean are also an easy drive away, making it possible to experience both the mountains and the coast during the same trip. Whether you're coming for fresh powder, summer trails, a family adventure, or a quiet escape into the mountains, we hope you'll settle in, slow down, and enjoy our little piece of Mount Washington.

Welcome to Our Mountain Home We want you to relax, get comfortable, and enjoy your time at Mount Washington. Please treat our condo, our neighbours, and the Alpine Village community with the same care and respect you would your own home. Quiet Hours & Neighbours Please be mindful of our neighbours and keep noise to a respectful level, particularly during quiet hours. Parties, events, and excessive noise are not permitted. A $250 disturbance fee may apply when a noise complaint or disturbance requires intervention. No Smoking or Vaping Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the condo or on the balcony. Wet & Snowy Gear Please remove wet boots and outdoor footwear when entering the condo and keep wet ski and snowboard gear in the designated areas. Please do not place wet clothing, towels, gloves, or other items directly on heaters or baseboards—this is an important fire-safety rule. Boot Dryer Please turn the boot dryer off when it is not being used and before checking out. Kitchen You're welcome to use the kitchen and everything we've provided during your stay. Please wash used dishes and cookware and return items to their proper places. If you use the last of something, we simply ask that you let us know. Plumbing Our mountain plumbing needs a little extra care. Please only flush toilet paper and never put wipes, feminine products, paper towel, grease, food, or other materials down the drains or toilets. Guests may be responsible for plumbing costs resulting from misuse. Garbage & Recycling All garbage and recycling must be carried out with you when you leave and disposed of in the designated dumpsters located in the main parking lots. Please do not use the garbage room inside our building, as it is not available for guest use. Please make sure all garbage and recycling is removed from the condo at checkout. Garbage left behind or disposed of improperly may result in an additional $50 removal fee. Children We love welcoming families! Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout their stay, particularly around balconies, stairs, heaters, and outdoor mountain areas. Longer Stays For long-term stays, electricity and internet usage may be charged separately where specified in your reservation or rental agreement. Before You Leave Please make sure the boot dryer and appliances are turned off, windows and doors are secured, dishes are taken care of, and all garbage and recycling is carried out to the designated dumpsters in the main parking lots. Most importantly, enjoy yourselves! This is our family’s mountain home, and we're happy to share it with you.
