What does it cost to list a property?

$200 CAD per year, per property — and the first 100 founding hosts pay $100 CAD per year, 50% off. That is the only fee: Visitr takes no commission on rent and charges guests nothing.

How long does review take?

Most listings are reviewed within two business days. We check photos, pricing and description quality before publishing.

How do guests contact me?

Accepted Answer

Guests send an enquiry from your listing page. It lands in your dashboard and is emailed to you with their contact details so you can reply directly.

Question 4

Does Visitr handle payments or deposits?

Accepted Answer

No. Visitr is a directory. Rent, damage deposits and rental agreements are handled directly between host and guest.

Question 5

What kinds of stays are listed on Visitr?

Accepted Answer

Everything from a few nights to a full season. Hosts choose short-term, extended (90+ nights) or both. Listings offering stays under 90 nights must show a BC provincial short-term rental registration number or a stated exemption.

Can I pause my listing?

Yes. If your property is booked out, pause it from your dashboard and reactivate whenever you like within your membership year.

What happens when my membership expires?

We email you before renewal. If it lapses, your listing is unpublished but your content is kept so you can reactivate.

Can I list more than one property?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your annual membership includes up to two listings, and additional listing slots are $50 CAD each per year. Add them from your host dashboard.
