Hello! We are Cam and Carla, a woodworker and optometrist, both long time Vancouver Island residents with a love for travel and exploring new places. We also love the beauty of Vancouver Island! We are new to hosting and so excited to introduce guests to a beautiful piece of Vancouver Island at our "Beach Bliss" suite and "Beach Bliss" studio in Yellow Point at Inn of the Sea. This little slice of Yellow Point paradise offers spectacular ocean views and the sound of the waves, a place to relax and leave feeling refreshed. Our "Beach Bliss" studio is located within beautiful Inn of the Sea, a 38 unit condo complex set on 3.5 acres of stunning waterfront. A shared love of listening to the waves, lounging pool-side and spending quality time with friends and family against the backdrop of spectacular Pacific ocean vistas is what our studio is all about. We invite you to immerse yourself in the splendor of Vancouver Island! Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to create a truly memorable stay. We welcome you to our beach escape where we wish you joy, laughter and beach bliss! Whether you've come for a short stay or long escape to explore our beautiful island, connect with family and friends, or just relax and enjoy a good book and the majesty of the ocean, we are so happy you are here! Spectacular unobstructed ocean views from your private east facing balcony await. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the ocean as you listen to the waves! Watch the seals and whales play! Welcome! Feel free to lounge indoors or on your balcony reading a book or watching the ocean, stay connected to loved ones with complimentary WiFi, soak in the hot tub, swim in the outdoor, oceanside pool or enjoy many of the other amenities here to help make you feel right at home! The studio is cozy at just 300 square feet - perfect for a single guest or a couple. It offers a recently added king bed, a small kitchenette area (mini fridge, microwave, kettle, French press and Keurig) private bathroom with a tub and shower, and private entrance and 2 balconies - one at the entrance on the west side of the building (shared with the neighboring unit) and a small private balcony oceanside with unobstructed ocean views. Please note there is NO kitchen in this studio, and it has one flight of stairs to the entrance as it located on the second floor. There are laundry facilities available on the property (not in the studio, coin operated). The studio comes with access to the tennis and pickleball court, BBQ areas (grills and propane provided), children's play area, outdoor pool (heated May-October and available for cold plunging in the winter) and a year round hot tub both located on a oceanfront deck overlooking the shoreline. There is also a seasonal dock (May-October). Boat moorage may be available for an additional fee from May to September, please inquire for availability and rates. This studio can be booked together with our adjoining Beach Bliss king suite to accommodate a total of up to 6 guests. **** Please inquire about excellent monthly rates for October, November, January, February & March.**** We are located approximately 110 minutes north of Victoria, 15 minutes from Ladysmith and 15 minutes south of Nanaimo. BC Ferries Departure Bay terminal is 30 minutes away and the Duke Point terminal and Nanaimo Regional Airport are each about a 15 minute drive. A car is highly recommended to stay at beautiful Inn of the Sea. Availability
Please note weekly rates are available October to May only. Monthly rates are available October, November, January, February and March only. Beach Bliss studio is available year round. Beach Bliss studio offers a king bed with a beautiful oceanfront balcony with a stunning view perfect for a weekend getaway or longer retreat. We would love to hear a little about yourself and planned stay. We are delighted to recommend and introduce to you to area highlights including our favourite hiking trails, amazing local restaurants and bakeries. As hosts that work full time we check messages frequently during the day and strive to respond to inquiries within 2 hours.
House rules
Check-in time after 4 pm unless an early check-in has been arranged. (Self check-in with a key pad) Check-out time before 11am. Maximum 2 guests. No additional overnight guests. No Pets. No parties or events. Quiet hours 10 pm - 8 am. No cleaning or cooking of shellfish in the unit. Please use the outdoor BBQs instead. No confetti or glitter in the unit. As much as we appreciate fun and sparkles, it is very difficult to remove. **** Smoking in designated areas of the resort only. Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the unit or on any of the patios.**** On check-out please wash your dishes and remove your garbage and recyclables from the unit and place them in the designated area (past the water tanks near the laundry room and tennis court). Have an excellent stay!
Accessibility
Beach Bliss studio is located on the second floor - there is a full set of stairs (outdoors) leading to a covered deck area and the doors to both 203 and the unit next door. There is no elevator in this building.
